Barbara J. "Bobbie" True, 63, of Sedalia and Arrow Rock, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2009, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Friends of Arrow Rock. Born Aug. 30, 1945, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late G.W. "Dub" Hulett and Aileen Robbins Hulett. On Feb. 14, 1964, in Blackwater, she married William H. "Buzz" True, who survives of Sedalia and Arrow Rock. She had lived in Marshall, Sedalia and Arrow Rock, was a 1963 graduate of Marshall High School and a 1966 graduate of Missouri Valley College. She taught mathematics at Slater High School and Old Mission Junior High School in Leawood, Kan., and was also a homemaker. She was a member of Arrow Rock Federated Church, served on the Board of Directors of Friends of Arrow Rock and on the Architectural Review Board in Arrow Rock.
Additional survivors include two sons, Tony True and his wife, Andrea, of Ridgefield, Conn., and Tim True and his wife, Heather, of Lee's Summit; and three grandchildren, Andy True, Lindsay True and Owen True.
