Friday, June 19, 2009
An arrest warrant with a cash or surety bond of $2,000 has been issued by Saline County Circuit Court for Jesus M. Lopez, 19, of Dover.

Lopez was stopped May 29 on College Street in Marshall when a police officer observed the car Lopez was driving held an expired license plate.

According to the incident report, a MULES/NCIC computer inquiry showed a revoked driver's license and improper registration for the car.

Lopez was charged with class A misdemeanor operating a vehicle without a valid license, class B misdemeanor failure to register a motor vehicle and class C misdemeanor failure to maintain financial responsibility.

According to unofficial online court records, Lopez has four previous convictions for driving with no license, and an additional active case in Lafayette County for the same offense.
