Marshall man hurt in boating accident Sunday

A Marshall man suffered minor injuries Sunday, June 14, in a boating accident while fishing on the Lake of the Ozarks, according to a Missouri State Water Patrol report.

Ronald Hardwick, 49, and another man were anchored about 1:30 a.m. near the 92 mile marker when the jon boat they were in was struck by a runabout operated by Larry Welch of Deep Water, according to the report.

Hardwick suffered a minor laceration on his head and declined treatment, according to MSWP officials.
