James E. Waddle, 86, of Hamilton, died Saturday, June 6, 2009, at his home, with his family around him.
He was born Feb. 19, 1923, in Shubert, Neb., to Frank and Georgia (Price) Waddle. His family moved to Coffeyville, Kan., where James grew up and graduated high school. He joined the U.S. Air Force and served in France during War World II. He also lived in Kansas City and Gallatin. He worked for Missouri Pacific and Burlington Northern Railroads. In 1943, he married Geneva (Bell) Waddle, and they later they divorced. In 1967, he married Bonnie (Garrens) Waddle. He was a good man, loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
He was dearly loved by his wife; eight children; 12 grandchildren, including Mark Hatfield and his wife, Andrea, of Marshall; and 14 great grandchildren.
