Summers, daughter of Kim and Bud Summers, received a journal from 2008 Junior Queen Morgan Fuehring, 18, of Sweet Springs. The journal has been passed down through the junior royalty since it was started in 2001, and contains a piece of advice from each of the junior queens during that time.

So, why is it that the "Saline County" BBQ board purchased all the meat in "Lafayette County"? That is pathetic.
Miss Summers is from Slater as well....she just attends MARSHALL schools.
Lauren is the daughter of Jason and Bethany Weiker of Slater, not Sweet Springs.
Congratulations to both girls!
Congratulations Lauren, you are an outstanding young lady who deserves the best. Good luck in the future.
