Kenneth L. "Kenny" Johnson, 66, of rural Gilliam, died Friday, May 29, 2009, at his home.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at Concord Cemetery in Saline County, with William W. Harlow officiating. Friends may call after 8 a.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials may be made to family choice. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born Jan. 26, 1943, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late William Lee Johnson and Sylvia Faye Durham Johnson. On Sept. 9, 1961, he married Patsy Aline Carmack, who survives of the home. He had lived in rural Gilliam most of his life and was a farmer and truck driver. He was a member of Concord Christian Church.
Additional survivors include his children, William N. "Spike" Johnson of rural Gilliam, Beth Ann Costa of Marshall, Kathy Johnson of Marshall and Edith Pauline Breshears of rural Gilliam; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Marie Johnson, and one sister, Carol Ann Acton.
