Flags lowered for National Police Week

Flags are flying at half-staff across the U.S. Friday, May 15, in honor of Police Memorial Day, the culmination of National Police Week.

As many as 150 law enforcement officers are killed each year in the line of duty. Police Memorial Day was established in their honor in 1962.
