Deborah A. Tichenor, 46, of Sedalia, died Thursday, May 7, 2009, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 11, 2009, at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Bart Tichenor officiating. Pallbearers were Joseph Gray, Joshua Gray, Patrick Long, Matthew Long, Kenny Smith and Walter Long. Interment will be in Miller's Chapel Cemetery in Heath's Creek Township of Pettis County following services. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Patient Fund of the Dialysis Clinic or Miller's Chapel Cemetery Fund in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel. She was born May 23, 1962, in Fairbanks, Alaska, the daughter of Robert D. and Mary Ann (Smith) Long, who survive. Prior to her illness, she worked as a technician for the Dialysis Clinic in Sedalia. She had formerly worked for Marshall Habilitation Center in Marshall.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by four children, Joshua Gray of Kansas City, Joseph Gray of Kansas City, Marianne Tichenor of Marshall and Emily Tichenor of the home; one brother, Patrick D. Long of Sedalia; and a niece and a nephew.
