Reinke currently works as an industrial technology teacher at Wellington-Napoleon High School in Wellington, where he has served for five years.
Before that, he worked at Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia for two years, where he also served as an industrial technology teacher.
Reinke said he has desired to work in an administrative position since he was working toward his master's degree in administration at Lindenwood College in Saint Charles, which he received five years ago.
"I wanted to keep teaching for a few more years" before any move to an administrative position, said Reinke.
Of his plans for the school, Reinke said he didn't have any "as of now," but plans to spend his first several months becoming familiar with the school district, teachers, faculty and students and building a good relationship with all parties involved.
