Patricia "Pat" Gunzburg, 74, of Slater, died Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to family choice. Born May 21, 1934, in Amsterdam, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Leo Corsette and Vivian Shoecraft Corsette. On May 9, 1985, she married Larry Gunzburg, who survives of the home. She had lived in Slater the last 10 years, moving from Redfield, Kan., and was a homemaker.
Additional survivors include three daughters, Debbie Corsette and her husband, John Supple, of Phoenix, N.Y., Janet M. Cooper and her husband, Noah, of Cayuga, N.Y., and Patty L. Johns and her husband, Daniel, of Marshall; four sons, James E. Hierholzer and his companion, Diane Davis, of Clay, N.Y., John A. Hierholzer and his wife, Kathleen, of Lysander, N.Y., Joseph C. Hierholzer of Baldwinsville, N.Y., and Jay A. Hierholzer and his wife, Freida, of Redfield; two stepsons, Roy Hartley of Slater and Eric Gunzburg of Amsterdam; 21 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Mitzi Gerber of Rockford, Ill., and Patt D'Armigon of Portland, Ore.; one brother, Butch, of the state of New York; three sisters, Dolores, Sandra and Jeanne, all of the state of New York; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
