Thomas H. Mallery, 64, of Wentzville, formerly of Marshall, died Sunday, April 19, 2009, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Rev. Wayne Doolin officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial with military rites will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Born Oct. 23, 1944, in Fall River, Mass., he was the son of the late Thomas H. Mallery and Evelyn Gerard Mallery. He was a graduate of Old Dominion University and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. On April 26, 1969, he married Barbara K. Miller, who survives of the home. He had lived in Wentzville the last four years, moving from Marshall, where he had lived since 1972. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Wentzville.
Additional survivors include four children, Mitchell Wade of Salt Lake City, Utah, Wendy Lyle of Maryland Heights, David Wade of Maryland Heights and Mary Lynn Murphy of Wentzville; three grandchildren; three brothers, Jack Mallery of Virginia Beach, Va., Doug Mallery of Chesapeake, Va., and William "Chip" Mallery of St. Mary's, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
