Sue Ellen Swarts Waller, 68, of Lee's Summit, died Saturday, April 18, 2009, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall, with William Harlow officiating. Born March 20, 1941, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late T.J. Dillard and Curtis Elizabeth Thomas Dillard. She was a graduate of Warrensburg High School and attended Central Missouri State University. She was married to James Arthur Swarts, who survives of Placerville, Calif. She later married Dale Waller, who preceded her in death. She had lived in the Lee's Summit area most of her life and was a billing clerk for Lee's Summit Clinic.
Survivors include one son, James "Rusty" Swarts of Aurora, Ohio; one daughter, Laura Moseley of Independence; five grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth Cole of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dale, she was preceded in death by one brother and one sister in infancy.
