Hyperbole aside, Hall did the job again for the Greyhounds, allowing only five hits and two earned runs -- while striking out six batters -- for his third win of the season.
Sweet Springs got off to a good start, with senior Blake Vogelsmeier hammering a solo homer in the top of the first inning and junior Billy Martin leading off the second with a single and scoring.
Hall singled and came in with the first of two runs in the third, the Red Dragons committing three errors during the frame. Vogelsmeier added an RBI single in the sixth.
Wentworth (1-2) got two-run doubles from senior Joel Fowler in the sixth and junior Zac Nevel in the seventh, but Hall stranded the tying run on second base by ending the game with a strikeout.
Vogelsmeier had three hits for Sweet Springs (3-2), which takes a week off before next Wednesday's tilt at St. Paul.
