Lou "Nana" Rhoads, 94, of Marshall, died Saturday, April 4, 2009, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at St. Peter Catholic Church, with Fr. Kevin Gormley officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery in Shackelford. Born Sept. 12, 1914, in Arrow Rock, she was the daughter of the late Gilford Davis and Roxie Lee Pannell Davis. On April 12, 1937, she married Floyd W. Rhoads, who preceded her in death on July 20, 2000. She had lived in Marshall most of her life and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and its Altar & Rosary Society.
Survivors include several godchildren, including Mark Mikle and Sheila Mikle, both of Marshall; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Pearl Gibson and Josephine Rose, and one brother, Grover Davis.
