David Glenn Bacon, 57, of St. Louis, formerly of Columbia and Marshall, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2009, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Memorials may be made to The Lighthouse Shelter in Marshall or charity of donor's choice. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born Dec. 10, 1951, in Marshall, he was the son of Velma L. Baker Bacon of rural Marshall and the late Jack Bacon. He was a 1970 graduate of Marshall High School and attended University of Missouri-Columbia. He was currently living in St. Louis, moving there from Columbia. He was baptized in First Christian Church in Marshall.
In addition to his mother, survivors include three children, Stephanie Rhea Bacon Algiers, Jane Suzanne Bacon and Phillip David Bacon; two brothers, John Allen Bacon and Paul Edward Bacon, both of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews.
