William Edward "Bill" Clouse, 80, of Marshall, died Friday, March 6, 2009, at his home.
Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2009, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Fr. Kevin Gormley officiating. Burial with military rites was in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Memorials may be made to Nicholas-Beazley Aviation Museum. Born Dec. 24, 1928, in Kansas City, he was the son of the late William Henry Clouse and Julia Veronica Lehane Clouse. He had lived in Marshall the last 40 years and worked for Marshall Ag Service. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean conflict. He was a Catholic.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Gibson of Marshall and Melissa Howser of Miami; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Henry F. Clouse of Marshall; one sister, Julia Marie Mansfield of Pahrump Valley, Nev.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Maurice Murphy.
