Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 70 near Sweet Springs Sunday afternoon, March 8, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
James L. Jaeger, 60, of St. Louis, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to I-70 Medical Center in Sweet Springs, according to the report.
Lynn M. Larko, 51, of O'Fallon, suffered minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene, troopers said.
The accident happened at 2:22 p.m. was both vehicles were eastbound.
The 2006 Chrysler driven by Jaeger apparently struck the rear of a 2008 Chevrolet driven by Larko, according to troopers.
The investigation continues. Sweet Springs police assisted at the scene.
