A Gilliam woman was arrested early Sunday, Feb. 22, on suspicion of domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon, according to a report from the Saline County Sheriff's Office.
The woman was taken into custody after a sheriff's deputy and a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper responded to a 911 call reporting that a woman was attempting to break into a man's bedroom with a knife.
The caller reported that the woman was intoxicated and had threatened him with a BB gun earlier that day.
