The lecture will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 7, at the Arrow Rock State Historic Site Visitor Center.
Dickey is the site administrator of the Arrow Rock State Historic Site and is the author of "Arrow Rock, Crossroads of the Missouri Frontier," a 300-page history of Arrow Rock.
Lawson is an Arrow Rock resident whose research verified the original Missouri River crossing of the Santa Fe Trail at Arrow Rock on property he now owns.
Dickey and Lawson are the two elected Missouri representatives on the Santa Fe Trail Association Board which will hold its 2009 Symposium in Arrow Rock Sept. 24-27.
The presentation is sponsored by the Friends of Arrow Rock and the Arrow Rock State Historic Site.
This lecture is the second in the 2009 First Saturday Lecture Series conducted February through May in Arrow Rock.
