Denzil B. Parker, age 83, was reunited with his great-grandson, family and friends who have preceded him in Heaven on January 29, 2009, at home with his loved ones by his side. Denzil was born on June 1, 1925, in Malta Bend, MO, he was the first of eight children born to Bill and Idress Parker.
After serving in the U.S. Navy as a Radioman during WWII for six years and traveling around the world, Denzil came home and met the love of his life, Emma La June Green. Moving to Grain Valley in 1961, there was another addition to the family, this is where they raised their family of four.
Denzil worked for the Kansas City Metro, where he was a Bus Driver for 38 years. Denzil loved his garden, flowers and loved to type letters, fish and most of all jokes.
Denzil was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
