Earle B. Lovick, 87, of Spring Hill, Fla., a former Saline County resident, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at Big Bend Retreat in Slater.
Memorial services and burial will be held at a later date at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born Jan. 5, 1922, in Malta Bend, he was the son of the late William Lovick and Lydia Bundrick Lovick. On Dec. 28, 1941, he married Doris Barnes, who preceded him in death on Jan. 26, 2006. He was a graduate of Malta Bend High School and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a retired railroad agent and was a member of Christian Church in Moberly.
Survivors include one brother, Lewis Lovick of Sheridan, Wy.; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Rogers of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Lovick.
