MoDOT: Missouri River ferry at Glasgow to close Friday due to ice on the river

Ferry service on the Missouri River at Glasgow will be temporarily suspended beginning Friday, Jan. 16, due to ice on the river, according to a news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation.

The service will complete its regular schedule Thursday, Jan. 15, running until 6:30 p.m.

Service will then be suspended until the river conditions are safe, MoDOT officials said.

MoDOT will issue a press release when the service is ready to resume operation.
