JEFFERSON CITY -- Two members of the Marshall boys' soccer team were named to the Missouri High School Soccer Coaches Association's all-state squad for the 2008 campaign.
Senior forward Chris McCoy was selected for first-team recognition, while senior defender Melvin Moreno was an honorable mention pick.
McCoy (left), a four-time all-NCMC performer, led the 18-7 Owls with 37 goals and 14 assists. Moreno (right) was the sweeper in a Marshall defense which only yielded 1.08 goals per match.
