Patricia A. Fontaine, 65, of Marshall, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2008, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall. Rev. Kevin Gormley will officiate. Burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Visitation will be held Monday, Jan. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. with prayer services at 6 p.m. at Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home in Marshall.

She was born March 11, 1943, in Marshall, the daughter of Leland A. Robinett of Parkville and the late Mary Ranagan Halsey. On Oct. 9, 1971, in Kelso, Wash., she married Charles E. Fontaine, who survives of the home. She and her husband had lived in Oregon for many years before returning to Marshall in 2005. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall.

Survivors include three sons, Frank J. Fontaine and Charles E. Fontaine Jr. and his wife, Sandra, all of Marshall, and Robert Fontaine and his wife, Linda, of Crestview, Fla.; one daughter, Cheryl L. Sparks of Mexico; one brother, Leland R. Robinett and his wife, Rose, of Kansas City, Kan.; four sisters, Mary Alice Hammer and her husband, Jerry, of Nampa, Idaho, Irene Connor and her husband, Jim, of Liberty, Kay Jordon and her husband, Jack, of Kansas City, Kan., and Connie Eastwood and her husband, Donnie, of Kingswood, Ga.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and many nieces and nephews.
