Miami man charged with misdemeanor domestic assault Wednesday

A Miami man was charged Wednesday, Dec. 24, with class A misdemeanor domestic assault, according to circuit court documents released by Saline County Sheriff Wally George.

Trent T. Croka, 28, was charged with third-degree assault in connection with a domestic disturbance investigated by sheriff's deputies early Wednesday in Miami.

A deputies reported finding a woman who was breathing but unresponsive when he arrived at the scene. The woman regained consciousness and was taken by ambulance to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall, where she declined treatment.

Bond was set at $2,500 cash-only with the condition that Croka stay away from the victim.
