Sweet Springs woman suffers minor injuries in 2-vehicle crash

Thursday, November 27, 2008

Robin DeWeese, 39, of Sweet Springs, received minor injuries about 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, when the 1999 Chrysler she was a passenger in was struck by a 2000 Ford F150, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

The accident occurred in Pettis County near the intersection of Highway 127 and Salt Fork Road.

The driver of the Ford pickup truck, Lisa K. Drexler, 43, of Sedalia, apparently failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the DeWeese car, driven by James R. DeWeese, 19, of Sweet Springs, according to troopers.

Neither James DeWeese nor Drexler were injured, according to the report.

Robin DeWeese was taken by ambulance to I-70 Medical Center in Sweet Springs.

Drexler was issued a summons for failure to stop at a stop sign, according to the report.
