Martha May Haynes, 49, of Independence, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at her home.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Taos, with Fr. J. David Maher. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Taos. Memorials may be made to Justin Haynes Education Fund in care of Jefferson Bank.
She was born May 28, 1959, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Angeline (Schnieders) Forck and the late Norbert Forck. She was a 1977 graduate of Blair Oaks High School in Wardsville. On Nov. 4, 1989, in Wardsville, she married Michael Haynes. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Taos. She had worked at Von Hoffman Press in Jefferson City and later at Press Ready Plate/Matthews International in Kansas City.
She is survived by one son, Justin Haynes of the home; seven brothers, John Forck of Jefferson City, Thomas Forck and his wife, Jane, of Ashland, Larry Forck and his wife, Joanne, of Jefferson City, Eddie Forck and his wife, Connie, of Ashland, Bernard Forck and his wife, Marian, of Chamois, Walter Forck and his wife, Cindy, of Taos, Steve Forck and his wife, Barb, of Taos; two sisters, Rosemary McKinnon of Taos, Ruth Singer and her husband, Jim, of Taos; and numerous relatives and friends.
In addition to her father, he was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Ottis McKinnon.
