Nellie Kathryn Duncan Little, 89, of rural Marshall, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Rev. Mike Brown officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, Fitzgibbon-Mary Montgomery Hospice or Fitzgibbon Cancer Center. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born Dec. 2, 1918, in Gilliam, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Edward Duncan and Quilla Mae Burnett Duncan. She had lived in Saline County her entire life and was a retired beautician, a homemaker, gardener and quilter. She was a member of First Christian Church in Marshall.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Little Beier of Kansas City; three grandchildren, Elliott Beier, Ian Beier and Gillian Beier; one sister, Margaret Cromley of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Dean, Roy, Bob and William Huston Duncan, and two sisters, Lucille Wade and Dorothy Ellison.
