Patrick G. Cunningham was charged with class B misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, according to unofficial online court records. He posted a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.
Cunningham's vehicle allegedly left ruts in the front yard of a Malta Bend residence as he left the area following the argument, according to deputies.
The owner of the residence then called the Sheriff's department to file a report of the incident.
After a short chase south on U.S. Highway 65, deputies stopped the car in Marshall and took Cunningham into custody, according to the report.
Field sobriety tests indicated he had a blood alcohol level nearly twice the legal limit, according to the report.

Good Morning Sunshine....
If he's still in custody, there must have been a warrant issued, thus the filing of formal charges. Who is he?
