Leonard W. Rogers, 56, of Marshall, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Fitzgibbon Cancer Center. Born Sept. 21, 1952, in Marshall, he was the son of Bobby J. Rogers and Ella Mae Teeter Rogers, who survive of Marshall. He had lived in Marshall his entire life and worked for the Marshall Sheltered Workshop for 33 years. He attended Open Door Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include one brother, Jimmie Rogers of Marshall; one niece, Bobbie Lee Rogers Bosley and her husband, Bruce, of Marshall; his companion, Rose Mary Norris of the home and her children, Gary Wayne Nease, Kristina Sue Otken and Joel Dean Jungels-Norris; and nine grandchildren.
