According to an incident report from Saline County Sheriff's Department, Fred W. Utlaut said he'd last seen the truck, with a full load of corn, parked in a field in the Grand Pass bottoms on Wednesday evening, Oct. 8. When he returned Thursday morning, Utlaut said, someone had moved the truck in an attempt to steal it and had gotten it high-centered on the levy.
The truck is a 1996 Kenworth with a grain trailer. There are no suspects or leads at this time.
