Saline County 9-1-1 Commission voted Thursday, Oct. 8, to extend the deadline for building construction bids to noon Friday, Oct. 17, according to unofficial minutes of a special meeting.
The commission also moved the date of its next regular meeting to account for the deadline change.
The next meeting will be at 1 p.m. Oct. 17.
The commission has agreed to purchase property near Marshall Municipal Airport to be the home of a new centralized dispatch building, which is expected to be completed by September 2009.

Wow this is all the news about what the 911 board is doing? What about not being able to use the enterance and parking area of the building already there that was discussed earlier. Going to have to contact MoDOT for an entryway. Hey board you don't think this is information that needs to be let out or what?? Unforunately most people knew this is how it was going to be, you know the board lays low and doesn't tell the funding party(a.k.a. the taxpayers) whats going on.
