The visiting Greyhounds rushed for 372 yards during a 41-7 victory at Crest Ridge, their fourth straight win. Sweet Springs led 28-0 at halftime and were unchallenged the rest of the way.
Senior Tyler Rennison scored the 'Hounds' first two touchdowns, on a 57-yard run during the team's first possession and 6-yard dash early in the second period. Senior quarterback Blake Vogelsmeier ran the ball in from 2 and 10 yards out before the half was over.

After junior Garrett Whited gave the Cougars (1-5, 1-5 I-70) their lone score on a 16-yard run with 5:23 left in the game, Sweet Springs' subs went on a long drive capped by sophomore David Hall's 1-yard dive.
Rennison had 182 all-purpose yards, 143 rushing, while 95 of Vogelsmeier's 134 total yards came in the ground. Senior Ryan Armstrong, one of three Malta Bend students playing for the 'Hounds, returned an interception 32 yards.
