WARRENSBURG -- Senior Kylie Wagner's 30 kills led the Santa Fe volleyball team Saturday during a non-trophy performance in the Warrensburg Tournament.

Wagner, senior Joci Russell and junior Lauren Aversman each put down four shots and sophomore Molly Sander had three aces and 11 assists during the Lady Chiefs' 25-20, 25-15 loss to the host Lady Tigers in the first pool match. Wagner produced six kills and eight digs as Santa Fe tied California in pool play, 23-25, 25-19.

Wagner's 12 spikes and 10 from Aversman, along with four Russell aces, gave the Lady Chiefs their only win of the day, 20-25, 25-19, 25-14 over Warrensburg's "B" team.

In the consolation bracket, Santa Fe was eliminated by Pleasant Hill, 25-23, 25-20. Wagner and Sander each had nine kills during the match.

The top-ranked Lady Chiefs (12-3-3) return to I-70 Conference action Tuesday at St. Paul.
