According to the incident report, James Woods, who operates the business, called deputies to the store shortly after 8 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 4.
Woods said he discovered both doors to the building were open when he arrived at the store shortly before 8 a.m. Saturday. Papers and other items had been dumped on the floor, candy dispensers had been damaged and the money in them removed, and a can of change kept in the office was missing.
On further investigation, Woods discovered a case of Pepsi had also been taken, along with a denim jacket and a "camo" zippered sweatshirt with hood.
An investigation is continuing.
