Santa Fe volleyball: Santa Fe 2, Wellington 0Wednesday, October 1, 2008
WELLINGTON -- The top-ranked Santa Fe volleyball team disposed of Wellington-Napoleon Tuesday for a 25-11, 25-8 I-70 Conference road win.
Senior Joci Russell and junior Lauren Aversman each had six kills for the Lady Chiefs, who also got a combined 13 digs from senior Kylie Wagner and sophomore Molly Sander. Santa Fe dropped in 13 aces on the Lady Tigers (3-5, 1-2 I-70), three by junior Cassie Prior. The Lady Chiefs (11-1-2, 3-0) will play Saturday in the Warrensburg Tournament. |
