Pauline Winning, 90, of Marshall, MO, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Pallbearers will be Gene Cassell Jr., Alex Winning, Kevin Boyer, Dustin Parton, Mack Davis and William Davis. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or American Heart Association. Born September 1, 1918, in Washburn, she was the daughter of the late James Edward Fielding and Lurena Belle Ellis Fielding. On June 28, 1947, in Sedalia, she married Donald E. Winning who preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 1982. She had lived in Marshall since 1939, moving from Washburn, and was a Baptist.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Cassell and husband Gene of Marshall Junction; two sons, William E. Winning and Barry E. Winning, both of Marshall; a daughter-in-law, Terri Winning of Springfield; six grandchildren, Kristie Davis, Gene Cassell Jr., Kelly Boyer, Lindsey Parton, Alex Winning and Jalynn Dinkins; eight great-grandchildren, William and Sarah Davis, Jacob and Jared Cassell, Ashton Boyer, Jerin, Mogus and Eyerus Dinkins; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Alfie Fielding, Harvey Fielding, Merle Fielding, Paul Fielding and Arthur Fielding, and three sisters, Mary Shockley, Bonnie Clark and Jean Chadd.
