Breaking News: Santa Fe Trail Days activities Saturday cancelled

The Marshall Chamber of Commerce announced Friday morning that Santa Fe Trail Days activities scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 13, have been cancelled.

The luncheon at noon Friday will be held as scheduled.

The Nicholas-Beazley Aviation Museum fundraising pancake breakfast is still on for Saturday at 8 a.m. at the Martin Community Center.

The area is in the grips of a large weather system that has dumped more than an inch of rain on Marshall overnight.

Rain is expected to continue steadily over the next two or more days.

The Saline County Fair Association will hold its chain saw sculpture auction Oct. 7 in conjunction with its potato bar dinner.
