Linda Gail Cox, 48, of Bosworth, died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, at Boone Hospital in Columbia, following a lengthy and valiant fight against breast cancer. She was surrounded by those she loved and who loved her when she passed.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, at Bosworth Christian Church, Bosworth. Burial will be in Big Creek Cemetery, Bosworth. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, at Gibson Funeral Home, Bosworth. The family suggests contributions be made to H.E.L.P. Services Cancer Fund in memory of Linda Cox. She was born Jan. 12, 1960, in Roswell, N.M., the daughter of John H. and Hazel I. Bethards Henderson. On April 2, 1993, she married Randall L. Cox in Yuma, Ariz.; he survives of the home. She graduated from Bosworth High School in 1978. She had been employed by Farmer's Store in Bosworth for several years and the Bosworth grocery store. She worked at Chillicothe Wholesale Plumbing for several years and at Barkley Seed in Yuma, Ariz. She was currently employed at W.B. Young Company in Marshall. She had recently earned an associate degree in general education.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by two children, Connor McClure and Brenna Kate, both of the home; one sister and brother-in-law, Dian and James Dilley of Bosworth; one sister-in-law, Andrea Lacis and husband, Edmunds; two brothers-in-law, Scott and Dan Cox; brother-in-law, Charlie Cox and his wife, Eufemia; sister-in-law, Cheri Ramie and her husband, Rich; three nieces, Kristy Bullock, Kerry Branch and Karolean Harris; great-nieces and great-nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins on both sides; and a host of friends.
