Traffic will be restricted to one lane next week on Blackwater Bridge over I-70

The Missouri Department of Transportation announced Thursday that it will reduce eastbound traffic to one lane on Interstate 70 in Saline County Monday, Sept. 8, through Wednesday, Sept. 10, from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day for bridge repairs.

Repairs will be between the Route YY interchange and the U.S. Highway 65 interchange, according to a MoDOT news release.

Motorists are advised by MoDOT officials to use caution in and around the work zone area. The work is weather-dependent and could be delayed or rescheduled.
