Former Blackburn woman waives extradition, will return to county to face probation violation charge

Thursday, September 4, 2008

Christy L. Moore, 32, formerly of Blackburn, has waived extradition and will be brought back to Missouri from Izard, Ark., where she was arrested earlier this week on a warrant from Saline County.

The warrant was issued Nov. 23, 2005, for a probation violation.

Moore was arrested in late 2002 and charged with class C felony assault in the 2nd degree. After pleading guilty in January 2003, Moore's sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for five years.

After Moore violated the terms of her probation multiple times, a warrant was issued for her arrest, with a cash-only bond of $10,000.

Moore was scheduled to be picked up at Melbourne County jail in Izard Thursday, Sept. 4.
