We put animals to sleep, why can't we do the same for humans? I'm a fan of Dr. Kavorkian. He is a saint in my book.
It wasn't a suicide attempt the man was successful. Sometimes a person with terminal cancer who is in severe pain may find dead the only alternative.
I hope it wasn't a suicide attempt. That's a permanent solution to a very temporary problem. If a bullet must be discharged it is still better to shoot the TV even if it will get you arrested most of the time. Tomorrow is always a better day.
How sad that someone was/is hurting that much. I pray that they get some assistance with their problems.
