Beverly Koeln McKinney, 87, of Marshall, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Born May 23, 1921, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Carl C. Koeln and Claire Forness Koeln. On Dec. 25, 1942, in St. Louis, she married Charles D. McKinney, who preceded her in death on July 25, 1981. She had lived in Marshall since 1942, moving from St. Louis, and attended Missouri Valley College. She retired in 1986 from Marshall Habilitation Center after working there for 15 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Marshall, Monday Club and was an avid bridge player.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Koeln "Bob" McKinney and Kevin Dean McKinney and his wife, Cheryl, of Marshall; one daughter-in-law, Gayle Carter of Marshall; 11 grandchildren, Chris McKinney, Koeln McKinney, Joshua McKinney, Ryan McKinney, Alex McKinney, Sara Stone and her husband, Tim, Suzanne McKinney, Dana Williams, Corey Gaddy, Connie Keller and Greg Vaught; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Charles Uel "Chuck" McKinney.
