Mae Coyner, 99, of the state of New York, formerly of Marshall, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, in New York.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, at Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home in Marshall. Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall.
She was born May 28, 1909. Other than family, her passion in life was fishing. She held many records for the largest fish caught in Bennett Springs National Park.
She is survived by her two sons, Delmer Fidler and his wife, Joan, and Ronald Fidler; seven grandchildren Catherine Schuber and her husband, Fred, Janet Miller and her husband, Wayne, Julie Ninow and her husband, Rich, Jean VanOrden and her husband, Dan, John Fidler, Paul Fidler and his wife, Joyce, and Denise Gilmartin and her husband, Mark; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Robertson and his wife, Opal, of Columbia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tilly Stanley Coyner, and nine siblings.
