An Ozark woman suffered minor injuries Friday evening, Aug. 1, after her car was struck by a car driven by a Marshall woman, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Martha B. Jayne, 55, was traveling north on Highway 41 when a car driven by Kayla E. Ritchie, 19, of Marshall, turned in front of her, troopers said.

Jayne was taken by ambulance to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall for treatment, according to the report.

Ritchie was issued a summons for failure to yield to oncoming vehicle, troopers said.

Both drivers were wearing safety belts.
