Marshall man seriously hurt after hitting deer

A 45-year-old Marshall man was seriously hurt Friday evening, Aug. 1, after his motorcycle struck a deer on Highway 41 in Cooper County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Timothy W. Marquess was just south of Arrow Rock Road when the accident occurred about 7:20 p.m., troopers said.

Marquess was taken by air ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment, according to the report.

i feel really bad for him....because i was told he got hurt really bad...and i hope he gets better
