Edward Francis "Eddie" Heilman Jr., 61, of Marshall, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at Kindred Hospital in Kansas City.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2008, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall, with Fr. Tom Alber officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter Catholic Church, with prayer service at 6 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Pallbearers will be Quentin Narron, Mike Heilman, James Davidson, George Davidson, Brad Barnes and Anthony Martin. Born May 11, 1947, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Edward Francis Heilman Sr. and Elnora Gramlich Heilman, who survives of the home. He worked for GM&O Railroad, Missouri State Highway Department and was a farmer. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.
Additional survivors include two sisters, Helen Davidson and her husband, Herman, of Mexico and Betty Ann Narron and her husband, B.J., of Marshall; two brothers, Donnie Heilman and his wife, Brenda, of rural Slater and Mark Heilman and his companion, Karen Riddle, of Gilliam; sister-in-law, Carolyn Heilman of New Franklin; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Heilman and Richard Heilman.
