The replica Lady Owls were close the whole way, scoring twice in the bottom of the first inning on Stephanie Stark's single to take a one-run lead after giving up a tally on a passed ball in the top of the frame.
Amanda Clifton tied the score with a two-out single in the second for the Sedalia club and two Marshall errors in the third allowed the Havoc to jump in front in the third.
Singles by Carrie Binder, Sarah Bell and Alyssa Johnson plated two runs in the Sedalia fourth, but Marshall loaded the bases with one out when Kelsey Griffin singled between walks to Jessi Scott and Tara Bartel.
However, Briana Davis induced two grounders, allowing only one run to score against the Havoc (8-2) -- which went on to win its next two games of the evening.
Marshall rebounded by smashing the Legends of Warrensburg, 14-7, leading from wire to wire. Bartel went four for four at the plate and Anderson gave up only four hits and one earned run to improve her summer record to a team-best 7-3.
Two errors let Marshall go on top 2-0 to begin the game, but a four-run second broke it open. Anderson smashed a bases-loaded, two-out double for three runs and came in on KaeLeigh Brown's single.
Marshall took a 6-1 lead into the fourth and final stanza, unloading for eight runs on seven hits. Alicia Gross had two singles, Griffin knocked in a run with a safety, Emily Aldredge contributed a two-run single and Anderson added an RBI double to the rally.
The Legends (4-7) got six runs during their last at-bat -- but only one was earned. Two walks, three errors and two hits -- including Alexia Huebotter's two-run double -- constituted the surge.
Marshall (8-7, 8-4 SGSL) will be back in action Thursday with a pair of games in the Columbia Diamond Council.
