Youngster injured in Arrow Rock June 21

Satine L. Valencia-Graham, 6, of St. Joseph, sustained minor injuries Saturday evening, June 21, when she apparently ran into the lane of traffic near the intersection of Park Drive and Shelter Drive in Arrow Rock State Park.

According to a report from Missouri State Highway Patrol, Chad A. Fuqua, 40, of Hollister, was southbound on Shelter Drive when Valencia-Graham ran into the path of his 2007 Yamaha.

Damage to Fuqua's vehicle was minor.

Valencia-Graham was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital by Saline County EMS.
