Jeffrey J. Moad, 41, of Marshall, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2008, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to family choice. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born Jan. 26, 1967, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Jerry Joe Moad and Elizabeth Jean Stahl Moad Tartenaar. He had lived in Marshall for several years, also living for a while in Columbia. He was a 1985 graduate of Marshall High School and later attended Columbia College. He had worked for Marshall Habilitation Center, The Living Center and American Red Cross Blood Bank in Columbia. He loved animals and flowers.
Local survivors include his maternal grandmother, Mary Stahl of Marshall; a half-brother, Luke Tartenaar of Marshall; two aunts, Judy Gillette and husband, Bob, of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Lori Stahl and special friend, Lisa Winch, of Blue Springs; one uncle, Dennis Stahl and his wife, Paula, of rural Marshall; a special cousin, Kaylei, and many others; and his special dogs during his illness, Missy and Schubert.
In addition to his parents, his maternal grandfather, Norman Stahl, preceded him in death.
